Vaughn Paunovich

Vaughn is an experienced health care technology executive with more than 25 years of experience leading digital transformation initiatives, enabling AI-powered insights and streamlining digital tools to enhance care delivery. As Chief Technology Officer at LifeStance, Vaughn leads the organization’s end-to-end technology strategy, ensuring a best-in-class digital experience for both patients and clinicians.

Prior to joining LifeStance, Vaughn served as Executive Vice President of Enterprise Platforms at Amwell, where he led the product and technology teams in driving digital transformation for clinicians, patients and payor and provider organizations. Earlier in his career, Vaughn spent a decade at UnitedHealth Group in various leadership roles, including Chief Information Officer of Optum Health, where he led technology and innovation initiatives across the provider and patient care ecosystem.

Vaughn holds a B.S. in International Finance from the University at Albany.
